Germany, here we come!

[Full swim report here]

The captain has spoken! I will swim tomorrow, Tuesday 1st August. 🏊👏🏼🎉 If the wind conditions remain stable, I will swim from Denmark to Germany like last year. I will start around 5.00-6.00 am (CET) from Rødby harbour. My ETA in Germany will be any time between 02:00 and 08:00 pm depending on the current and weather conditions along the way. 🏊💨

As usual, my team will take over my social media accounts and will make sure to post live updates on my SwimDream76-page on Facebook every 30 minutes or so (as long as they have cell data coverage). You don’t need to have a profile on Facebook in order to see the page. Feel free to comment on those updates tomorrow – my team will make sure to pass on your messages to me via their whiteboard while I’m swimming. 📝🛥🏊

Besides we’ll have a tracker on the escort boat, so you can follow me on https://track.rs/swimdream76/ But then again, the tracker will only work as long as there is cell data coverage. Should the network fail for some reasons, you may experience temporary service outages.

Needless to stay I’m looking forward to tomorrow. Let’s hope the winds and currents won’t play any tricks on us this year. Now, it’s time for me to carbo load and get a good night sleep.

Germany, here we come!

      • Wow, what a fantastic achievement! Way to go! I hardly got any work done yesterday as I couldn’t stop checking on your tracker and watching it blip its way across the strait. The Channel had better watch out! 😀

      • Thank you, Rosemary! ❤ Thanks for all the good energy and vibes – although I kind of ruined your work day. Hahaha! 😉
